Vaquero Foundation is a private non-profit-making institution carring out:

Research and development in all forms of pig meat.

•

It also encourages a bealthy and balanced diet based on traditional Mediterranean cuisine.

Vaquero Foundation borns becouse consumers have very little information about cualities and nutritional valvue of pork meat. Much of the information they do have is misleading.

The Fundacin Vaquero was establish to combat this situation. It studies in depth the nutritional charactheristics and qualities of pork meat in order to reestablish the true value of this typically Spanish food, and so to improve the quality of live of consumers through a healthy and balanced diet.
